Dear  partners, we are excited to share a case study from the Medical Simulation Centre which we just finish install in recently.

AVD  partner designed a multifunctional live video production practice surgery room that is now used by the medical college to train future medical doctor and nurse.

Shandong Medical School is one of the biggest  nurse traning institutions in east china, with about 20,000 students enrolled. It is known for its diverse range of programs, including various medical disciplines. 

This year the school decided to improve the training facilities for aspiring surgeons and announced a tender to outfit more than a dozen practice surgery rooms with top-of-the-line AV technology for recording, streaming, and visualization of medical and educational content. They choose AVD Inno RS41W wirless live video production system for their simulation center ,after test the shool satisfied with RS41W performance, agreed to install it throughout the medical simulation center.

The main element of AVD solution for the university is ycat system,Totally 2 operating room,7 observe room.Each room is install a ycat pro system.

AVD Inno wireless live video production system include RS41W wireless control server,WC210 wireless PTZ camera,wilreless micphones.

RS41W  is a 4 channel device capable of mixing, switching, recording, streaming, wireless connection and backing up all audio and video material. 

One of the defining features of this station is how convenient it is to use - users can control the system in any way that is comfortable for them. In the case of the medical students in the simulation center, their preferred way of control is via the interactive graphical user interface . 

This method gives students access to all main features, including changing layouts, editing their video live, initiating recording and streaming, taking snapshots, exporting complete videos to USB drives and even allowing them to control cameras’ PTZ movement just by touch the 15 inch touch screen 

Also RS41W wirelss live video production system is built in a 12 points video intercom functions,that make simulation room and oberation room students and teacher is free to immersive talking and communicating in real time.RS41W connect internet can through network cable,wifi or 4G/5G mobile network.

In terms of video sources for the station, the school uses WC210,the high quality  wireless PTZ cameras - these are professional wireless PTZ cameras ,which can connect RS41W host server maxium 300 meters with high quality connections. Ensuring that users don’t need to connect and control the camera physically . 

Through RS41W host server built in 15 inch touch screen can control the camera move ,zoom in or zoom out. 

Depending on the lecture requirements, medical readings are either recorded from a connected computer or from medical devices directly.
